I have very fond memory of hearing Roy play this song live at a free concert in Queens during the summer of ‘04 when my girlfriend (now wife) and I were living on the Clinton Hill/Bed-Stuy border. I saw the concert listing last minute and we immediately hopped a train to Queens, catching the concert just after it started. There is a minidisc recording of it all packed away somewhere…

If you ever have the chance to see Roy live, do it. The man is full of sunshine. And can play the vibes like no other.
