I’m making a playlist for an event I am playing records at on Friday and BOOM, SNAP! - came across this gem. Released in 2006 but has that crunch to the drum kit of days past. This was a standard funk beat I would drill into my brain over and over when I had a trap kit. Makes me want to bust out the pots and pans! BAM!

It’s things like this that I would have made had I gone the digital/tech instead of print route. I love technology’s flexibility in creating interactive experiences with traditional, non-techy things like bikes or shoes. It would be fun to load this thing up with some of the samples I’ve recorded over the years.
